Heart to Heart Healthcare Training is approved by the State of Michigan to offer comprehensive training programs for aspiring EKG Technicians. Our EKG Technician certification program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge required to excel in this vital healthcare role.
The program equips graduates to work as entry-level EKG Technicians in clinical settings. It covers essential topics such as anatomy, medical terminology, EKG fundamentals including equipment use and electrode placement, and interpreting EKGs. Students are prepared for the National Certification Examination for EKG (exam fees not included).

What is the cost of the EKG Technician Program?
EKG Technician Class, offered at a total cost of $950. Designed for aspiring healthcare professionals, this course provides in-depth training to equip you with the skills necessary for excellence in the field of electrocardiography.
As a student, you’ll be required to procure one pair of dark purple scrubs and the textbook.
Securing your place in this class is straightforward. We require a $300 deposit at the time of application to secure your seat in the class, with the remaining balance due on or before the first day of class.
Upon successful completion of the course, students will qualify to sit for the national certification exam.

While we do not offer financial aid through FASFA at this time, other avenues of support are available. Our expert instructors provide hands-on training in cardiac monitoring, patient care, and equipment handling, ensuring you are well-prepared for certification and employment.
How long is the EKG class?
This comprehensive 9-week hybrid course provides a balanced blend of in-person and online learning, designed to fit seamlessly into your schedule. Attend our hands-on lab sessions every Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm at our Ypsilanti location, where you’ll gain practical experience with real EKG equipment, mastering the skills of attaching patients and interpreting EKG results.
The flexible online classroom allows you to complete lessons at your convenience, ensuring you can manage your studies alongside other commitments. This structured yet adaptable approach ensures you receive both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise.
