Our PCT combination class consists of four classes for a discounted price. The four classes include Certified Nurse Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician and BLS CPR class.
Our Certified Nurse Assistant class includes lecture, lab and clinical experience. Both our Phlebotomy and EKG Technician classes are blended learning experience of both online and in- class. All lectures will take place through our online classroom, while all of your lab experience (blood- draws and EKG readings) will take place in the classroom setting during specific dates/times. The student will have four-weeks to complete the online learning assignments at their own pace and an additional four-weeks to complete all required blood-draws/EKG readings.
Our students will be taught about the healthcare field, healthcare teams, variety of healthcare setting, basic nursing assistant skills, anatomy and physiology, safety, medical terminology, communication,
infection control, phlebotomy basics, EKG basics, equipment, specimen collections and handling, as well as
various other information regarding patient care, phlebotomy and EKG’s. After completion of the program the student may sit for the National Certification Examination for Patient Care Technician. Our structured program gives step by step guided instruction so that every student can be
successful, whether they have a prior medical education and experience or not.
