Heart to Heart Healthcare Training will be cooking dinner for families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor on February 24, 2019 between the hours of 4pm and 8pm. We are looking for four student volunteers to assist us. Heart to Heart will provide all of the food to cook for the meals as well as the directions. Heart to Heart staff will be present to assist student volunteers. What is asked of the student volunteer is to assist in cooking and setting up dinner for the families who are staying at the house, and finish the night by cleaning everything up. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and to families who are going through very difficult times. Upon signing up to volunteer you will receive an email with more details.

Below is some important information about the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor –

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Ann Arbor has two Houses that provide a supportive home away from home for families of children 21 years of age and younger receiving treatment at a local area health facility. Located within walking distance of the University of Michigan Medical Centers, the Main House opened its doors in 1985 and serves over 1,200 families a year. This supportive environment is made possible through the generous contributions of many organizations, businesses and individuals, and through the hands-on work of hundreds of volunteers.

Besides financial support, the Houses depend upon volunteers for important house operations and fundraising activities. Volunteers give countless hours by serving on committees, assisting in special event planning and working directly with families to meet their needs.
Community groups also volunteer to cook meals for the families.
